Causes and Consequences of Brain and Spinal Cord Injuries
Brain and spinal cord injuries result from a number of serious causes. Traumatic brain injury (TBI) for instance may be caused by falling out of bed or from ladders or collision involving cars, motorcycles and pedestrians. Even sport injuries like a bad sip from skateboarding, an extreme punch from boxing and other high-impact sports may cause brain damage.
